Sierra Land Improvement, Inc (SLI) a privately held corporation has been in continuous operation since 2001. The company “Establishes Defensible Space” by reducing fuel loads. SLI is also active in disaster recovery and debris removal. Using mechanical and hand treatment for tree thinning, brush mastication, pruning, and chipping you can be confident in our fire risk reduction services.
Based in Nevada County, our expertise in fuel reduction management has been applied to the forest and interfacing communities of the Sierra Nevada, Trinity, Lake, and other regions of northern California. We are utilizing ‘State of the Art’ masticating equipment. SLI is committed to providing the highest level of quality output in a cost-effective manner. To meet the needs of communities ravaged by wildfire SLI expanded the scope of operations to encompass greater participation in wildfire recovery management.
